I am a wife and mother of two boys. I work full-time in the electronics industry. It took me 6 years to graduate college (no, I'm not embarrassed-I finished, Dammit!) SJSU class of 1990. I love to cook, because I love good food. I'll pass on sweets, but will eat something with garlic or onion in a minute. I HATE cheese, except Mozzerella on pizza-and that has to be combination pizza. I hate chick flicks, but love a good thriller. My husband and I are real estate investors on the side. View my complete profile
It was a pleasant suprise when my son's basketball coach announced that my son was the MVP of his 7th grade Jr high basketball team. I was only fortunate enough to attend maybe 3 games this season, because his games were usually at 4pm and I don't get off work until 5, but I did cut out early to see him play a few games. He also played for the NJB league team and made All Stars and of course I thought he was pretty good, but I do realize I watch him through a mother's eye (and a camera lens) so my persective may be skewed.
My son, Elias and his buddy Ronodeep were team captains. (Rono got Most Outstanding) My son played point guard and 2-guard and apparently was one of the leading scorers. Who knew? I have GOT to get a better handle on this game we call "basketball".
It was nice to get some pictures, even though I took photos at every game I attended and didnt get a single good shot. Here's one of the pictures they gave my son along with his trophy.
